Ratio Watch

Ratio watch is our way of making sure that everyone contributes back to the site. When you download a certain amount of data, you must keep your share ratio above a corresponding level. The levels are as follows:Amount downloaded        Minimum ratio        Extra info
0-5GB        --None--        Initial grace period for all users
5-10GB        0.15        Does not apply if you've been a member for less than two weeks
10-20GB        0.20        Ratio watch starts applying here if you've been a member for less than 2 weeks
20-30GB        0.30
30-40GB        0.40
40-50GB        0.50
50GB+        0.60

Further Detail

If your ratio does not meet the standards required for the amount you've downloaded and the length of time you've been on the site, you will be put on ratio watch. You will have two weeks to get your ratio to the required level for the amount you've downloaded - failure to do so will result in your account being automatically disabled.

If you download over 10GB while you're on ratio watch, you will be instantly disabled.

Everyone gets to download their first 5GB before ratio watch kicks in. If you've been a member for less than 2 weeks, ratio watch doesn't kick in until the 10GB barrier.

If you pass one of the barriers while on ratio watch, you are immediately subject to the new requirements. For example, if you've been a member of the site for two weeks and you've downloaded 9.5 gigs with a ratio of 0.10, then you go ahead and download another 0.6 gigs while on your first day of ratio watch, you will have 13 days to get your ratio up to your new target of 0.20.

You are only allowed to go on ratio watch twice. The third time your ratio dips below the required level, your account is instantly disabled.

The ratio watch system is completely automatic, and cannot be altered by staff.

» 对网站的访问只是一种特权而不是你的权利，可以因为任何原因禁止你对网站的访问。

» 一人一账户，马甲发现即禁用。

» 合作互利，每天有上千新种子上传，管理员不是神，发现违规种子请及时举报。
» 尊重其他站点的意愿，禁止发布不希望被提到的站点的链接或全名。
» 分享率规则：» 分享率（ratio）=上传/下载
» 为了保持帐号的下载特权，需保持其分享率在最低分享率（required ratio）之上，如果低于最低分享率，在失去下载能力之前有2周的时间（ratio watch）提高分享率。
» 最低分享率由下载量及“仍在做种的种子数占所下载种子数的比例”决定。
» 下载会使最低分享率上升，保持下载资源的上传可使最低分享率下降。应努力使帐号的分享率更高，最低分享率更低。
» 最低分享率的详细计算方法：
1. 不同的下载量对应不同的最低分享率范围：

例如帐号的下载量为25GB，则其最低分享率为0.05-0.30间某一值。
2. 最低分享率的确切值=0%做种时的最低分享率×（1-seeding/snatched）
snatched是帐号完整下载过的未删除种子数，种子重复下载只记一次。
seeding是在过去一周里至少做种上传超过72小时的种子平均数。如果你在过去一周内做种时间少于72个小时，seeding的值会下降。因此如果帐号下载少于20GB，且保持所有种子的有效做种，帐号不会有最低分享率限制；如果下载少于5GB，不管是否保持做种帐号都不会有最低分享率限制。下载量超过100GB之后0%seeded到100%seeded间的最低分享率都为0.6。
» 重要信息：
1. 分享率低于最低分享率之后帐号会进入2周的“ratio watch”阶段，2周之后如果分享率仍低于最低分享率，帐号会失去下载能力。
2. 下载量超过10GB的帐号如果分享率低于最低分享率会直接失去下载能力。
3. 下载量低于5G没有“ratio watch”限制。
4. 想要使帐号脱离“ratio watch”的状态，你应该通过更多的上传以提高分享率或者通过更多的做种以降低帐号的最低分享率，最终使分享率高于最低分享率。
5. 分享率监视机制完全由系统自动进行，而不由管理员改变。

What.CD是当之无愧的音&乐第一大站，waffles.fm排第二，但是离What还是有一段距离的。
What是远近闻名的邀请站，在What升级到PU，就可以得到几乎任何站的邀请。很多level 4以上的站在What都有官方无限邀请。
但是What想升级PU真是难上加难，如果成功了，其他所有PT站基本可以混的很轻松了

What也不是全部是无损音&乐，也有很多的MP3资源。% t# \/ F9 X0 L7 o" p
另外还有电子书、软件、有声读物等资源

User - Default class. Members get demoted here if their ratio is under 0.65.

Member - Been here for at least 1 week, has uploaded at least 10GB, ratio above 0.7 (Can make requests, and can edit Collages).
Power Users, Elites and TorrentMasters get demoted here if their ratios drop below 0.95.

Power User - Been here at least 2 weeks, has uploaded at least 5 torrents and 25GB, ratio above 1.05. (Receives invites, can access notifications, the collector feature, create new collages, and access Power User & Invites forums).
Note: Power Users are also demoted to Member if their uploaded amount drops below 25GB, or their current uploaded torrent total is less than 5.

Elite - Been here at least 4 weeks, has uploaded at least 50 torrents and 100GB, ratio above 1.05 (Access to the Elite forum, Top 10 filters, torrent editing privileges).
Note: Elites are demoted to Power User if their uploaded amount drops below 100GB, or their current uploaded torrent total is less than 50.

Torrent Master - Been here at least 8 weeks, has uploaded at least 500 torrents and 500GB, ratio above 1.05 (Access to the Torrent Master forum, earns custom title).
Note: Torrent Masters are demoted to Elite if their uploaded amount drops below 500GB, or their current uploaded torrent total is less than 500.
Can send unlimited invites.

Power TM - Same as Torrent Master, but has also uploaded one or more torrents in at least 500 unique groups (albums). Same privileges as Torrent Master. Note: Power TMs are demoted to Torrent Master if their current uploaded torrent total contains less than 500 unique groups.

Elite TM - Same as Power TM, but has also uploaded at least 500 torrents that are "perfect" FLAC (100% log for CD, or any Vinyl/DVD/Soundboard/WEB FLAC). Same privileges as Torrent Master. Note: Elite TMs are demoted to Power TM if their current uploaded torrent total contains less than 500 100% CD FLAC and/or Vinyl/DVD/Soundboard/WEB FLAC torrents.

Artist - Can add to the 'Latest vanity house additions' list.

Legend - Former staff member (Access to the special forum). Can send unlimited invites.

VIP - Special People. Can send unlimited invites.

Torrent Celebrity - Staff at another tracker that meets certain requirements and approved by a staff member (Access to the special forum). Can send unlimited invites.

Alpha Team - Don't ask us; we won't ask you.

Staff - Moderator, Developer, Administrator and Sysop.
